Not too much happened this weekend. Other than a sweet necklace upgrade: Hellfire Encased Pendant It dropped off of trash in Hyjal and I won the roll with a great roll of 97. A definite upgrade over my Vindicator's Pendant of Conquest. Luckily I hadn't earned the honor points needed for the Vindicator's Pendant of Subjugation as the Pendant would have replaced it. I also had a Great Lionseye cut to replace the hit rating lost from the Pendant of Conquest. Another rare gem upgraded to epic...
On another note, I've been buying Netherweave Cloth as suggested at Wow Investor. I buy any stacks that are less than 3g and turn them into Heavy Netherweave Bandages. The 10 bandages sell for 3g to a vendor (I could try to auction them, but if they don't sell, that cuts into my profit margins. Today I bought about 40-50 stacks of cloth at less than 3g, including 20 stacks from someone who put them up for 2g 30s. That's a 70s profit on each stack x20 stacks = 14g. All in, I probably made between 20-30g by buying cloth and selling bandages. Just takes some time, which I had plenty of today. Thank you undercutting sellers! I guess they're happy too, but they could have made more from bandages...

More Epic Gemming Goodness
Last night, while trying to figure out what to spend my gold from dailies on (I complete 20+ dailies a day during a normal trip around Outland), I briefly thought about getting the formula for Cat's Swiftness for 1300g. But then I decided to check for epic gems, and lo and behold, someone had flooded the auction house with them.
I ended up spending 1200g on new gems, including two Crimson Spinels for 350g each and two Pyrestones for 250g each (Wowhead pegs them at 450g each and the Spinels at 1000g each, so great deals!). I had a guildmate cut the Pyrestones into Reckless Pyrestones and I hired a mage I know to cut a couple Runed Crimson Spinels and I tipped him a nice amount.
The odd thing is, the uncut Spinels were 350g each while the cut Runed Crimson Spinels were trying to be auctioned at 700g each. I tipped 25g for two Runed Crimson cuts and briefly thought about auctioning them back off, but decided against it. I replaced two Runed Crimson Rubies with the Spinels and I replaced one Glowing Nightseye and I also replaced one of my new Forceful Seaspray Emeralds with the Pyrestones. In the end, I lost some stamina, but gained 5 haste (now at 103) and 18 spell damage. Some may call me crazy for spending my money this way, but every little boost I can squeeze out of my gear is worth it.
After all this re-gemming, I was asked to go to Heroic Magisters' Terrace. We had a small problem with Vexallus, but after figuring out how to handle his spawns, we quickly took him down (go go gadget Ice Block). We quickly dispatched of the 5v5 boss and continued on to Kael'thas who continually kicked our butt. We didn't have the burst DPS to burn through his shield so he kept killing our tank. We figured on our next run we could soulstone the tank so he could die and come back, but running over an hour late already, we just called it. The elusive Phoenix Hatchling still eludes me, but I was able to pick up a new enchant of Steelweave which makes me happy. All I need from there is the pet now. Oh yeah, even without downing Kael'thas, I earned 2,000 rep. Puts me almost 25% through revered. Exalted, here I come!

Pet Update
As most of you know, I collect pets. I try and farm them myself, but I've been getting quite upset with the drop rates so I gave in last week and purchased a Tiny Crimson Whelpling from the auction house for 200g. Seemed like a good deal to me, and he looks great as I run through Kara with him.
Last night, I saw an Azure Whelpling up on auction for 600g with a 650g buyout. I didn't want to spend the money since I was low on funds already, so I compromised. I put in a bid for 600g, but didn't buy it out for 650g. If I win it, great, I saved 50g. If I don't, fine...600g back into my pockets.
Also last week, I received my Hippogryph Hatchling from the friendly vendor in Booty Bay. This pet wasn't cheap, but well worth it to me. Today or tomorrow, I should be getting my Rocket Chicken as well which will take me to 57 pets. In May, Children's week returns, allowing me to collect two more pets and then with 2.4, I'll be out fishing every day looking for the pet crocs.
Speaking of fishing, I'm almost at 375 and will be trying to fish up Mr. Pinchy this weekend.
